Convention Networking

Being so close to the Orange County Convention Center is probably one of the best features of the Midpointe Hotel, tied closely with comfortable amenities. It’s no surprise many of our guests visit Orlando’s tourism and conference district for business purposes, which keeps Orlando’s schedule of events packed year-round. Even in December when crowds lighten up a bit at theme parks like Universal Orlando Resort, the Orange County Convention Center stays busy.

Spirit Cheer

West Concourse (Private) | 14 – 15

Competition brings out the best in us all. Athletes know this best, including those who support players on the field—the cheerleaders. Coming to Orlando during the holiday season is Spirit Cheer’s All American DI and DII Nationals. Cheerleaders and dancers aiming for national titles and a chance to compete in subsequent international tournaments plan seriously for this qualifying event. Spirit Cheer rose out of Gainesville, FL, in 1998. Spirit Cheer quickly became known for “NBA Fun Days” where top teams from that day’s competitions would attend an NBA game and perform as the half time entertainment. The competitive foundation has grown into affordable and fun cheerleading event. Competitors range in age and ability, what matters most here is spirit! And you’ll find it aplenty during this year’s most anticipated cheerleading event. Spirit Cheer also provides educational opportunities and seminars for coaches and gym owners at Varsity University. Check out Spirit Cheer’s website for information on all events, including cost and registration information for All American DI and DII Nationals.
