What more can be said about the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival? Maybe we could talk about the new topiaries? New ones spring up every year during the festival, which typically from March through May. This year’s notable topiaries include Pluto prancing in a field of beautiful flowers and larger than life blooms. Remy debuts in France standing guard with his large wooden spoon over a garden growing all the ingredients for ratatouille. We could talk about the food, but Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival got this one beat. Topiaries and maybe food may top some guests’ reasons why to attend the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival, yet others stay for the music.
Garden Rocks Concert Series
Every night festival goers will be treated to a concert featuring amazing classics and current favorites. Much like the topiaries, new bands rotate into the lineup every year. This year sees more new musicians than those that came last year. Below is the current list. Bookmark this page or this one to keep track of which show you’ll watch.
Don McLean | May 1 – 2
Here’s another Rock & Roll Hall of Famer who was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame who will perform at Epcot. Don’s best known for his eight and a half minute-long song “American Pie.”
Casting Crowns | May 3 – 4
Contemporary Christian rock band brings its soulful message to the main stage at Epcot for families and fan to enjoy.
Ambrosia with Peter Beckett | May 5 – 7
Here come another band most popular in the late 70s with its progressive sound which will gently rock you with “Baby Come Back” and “How Long.”
Thelma Houston | May 8 & 9
She holds a nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, and in her disco-esque track “Don’t Leave Me This Way” showcases her powerful vocal prowess.
The Allman Betts Band | May 10 & 11
The name may sound familiar and it should. It’s the joined forces of the solo careers of Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers. Fill these nights with amazing talent jamming your blues away.
Air Supply | May 12 – 14
Another soft rock night featuring a band who made a career out of trying to understand the mysteries of love in their songs “The Power of Love,” “All Out of Love,” and “Making Love Out of Nothing at All.”
Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone | May 15 – 18
Come out to relive the great British Invasion of the 60s that drove America absolutely crazy with “I’m Into Something Good,” “Can You Hear My Heartbeat?” and “Show Me Girl.”
Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot | May 19 – 21
Here’s an interesting concept: a cover band containing some of the original members of Billy Joel’s band playing many genres of music including Aerosmith, Paul McCartney, and Billy Joel, of course.
Claudia Leitte | May 22 & 23
Travel to the beautiful country of Brazil via the sounds and moves of Claudia Leitte, who brings the festive sounds of samba and South American electro-pop to Epcot.
Daughtry | May 24 & 25
You may know of this man as the finalist on season 5 of American Idol. Now he’s rocking out Epcot Flower & Garden Festival with is band.
Marshall Tucker Band | May 26 through 28
An oldie but beloved southern rock band favorite playing beautiful, melodic classics “Can’t You See,” “Fire on the Mountain,” and “Heard It In a Love Song.”
Crowder | May 29 and 30
Spend the night with contemporary Christian singer Crowder, once part of the David Crowder Band, as he graces audience with his solo career hits.
Survivor | May 31 & June 1
Epcot Flower & Garden Festival Garden Rocks Concert series ends on a high note with this American rock band best known for “I Can’t Hold Back,” “Is this Love,” and “Eye of the Tiger.”
