The Orange County Convention Center hosts a wide variety of events that allow guests and exhibitors from all over to experience both large-scale conventions and intimate expos amid all that Central Florida has to offer in regard to entertainment, business, recreation, and culture. Here are some of the scheduled events that guests can look forward to attending in August.
Florida Kids & Family Expo 2020
With over 200 exhibitors, 10 specialty zones, a petting zoo, a wide variety of rides and attractions, character meet and greets, and more, you won’t want to miss this fun, family-friendly event of the year. Presented by Orlando Health and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, the Florida Kids & Family Expo showcases all the fun-filled products, services, and activities available to Central Florida children and families. Tickets for this event are $6 in advance online and $15 at the door. Children age 2 and under are admitted for free.
Experience the fun at the Florida Kids & Family Expo, currently scheduled for August 8, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and August 9, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Florida Wedding Expo Summer 2020
If you’re looking to experience an inspiring wedding show in the Central Florida area, look no further than the Florida Wedding Expo at the Orange County Convention Center. This premier event draws over 150 vendors making this expo one of the largest of its kind in Central Florida. Guests who attend have a chance to win big: there are 25 grand prizes and 150-plus other prizes, including a $500 Kendra Scott jewelry giveaway, free services for weddings, and six free honeymoons. Tickets for the event are $12 online until August 7 and will be $15 at the door.
Guests can enjoy a day of elegance at the Florida Wedding Expo, currently scheduled for August 9, 2020, from 12-5 p.m.
Orlando Boat Show
For boat lovers everywhere, the Orlando Boat Show is the place to be to experience all different kinds of activities related to boating and fishing. At the event, 27 different boat dealers will be showcasing over 500 types of boats to guests. Two seminar stages will be open at the event, including the Fishing Zone seminar stage and the Go Boating Central Florida seminar stage. At these seminars, guests will hear presentations from various businesses and boating professionals. Activities for children will also be available, including face painting, caricature drawings, and more. Tickets for this event are $9 at the door. Children who are either 12 or younger have free admission to the event.
Bring your sea legs down to the Orlando Boat Show, scheduled for August 14 – August 16, 2020.
Central Florida Home Expo
With 14 previous shows, the Central Florida Home Expo has been providing guests with a premier home and gardening related experience. This event is perfect for guests looking to start work on their own home and gardening projects or guests that have a passion for home improvement. The event will feature a wide variety of different vendors that are showcasing their latest and greatest tools and other items. Guests will be able to chat with professionals as well as with potential contractors to help make their dream projects a reality. Warren Caterson, a celebrity chef, will be holding seminars at this event for guests interested in learning more about cooking. The event also features experiential kids workshops sponsored by Home Depot where little ones can learn more about home improvement, expand their decorative imagination, and let inner architect run wild.
The Central Florida Home Expo is scheduled to run from August 22 to August 23, 2020.
