Every month, Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex brings athletes from around the globe to compete in championships, tournaments, and cups. Below are a few of the most highly anticipated sports events coming to the complex this July.
AAU Primary National Championships
Get ready to run, dash, and sprint in the AAU Primary National Championships. This track-and-field event, featuring single age group competition, allows young athletes to compete for AAU awards. Boys and girls under eight years old are eligible to participate in the AAU Primary National Championships.
This lightning-fast event runs from July 9 to July 11, 2020.
AAU Track and Field Club Championships
Run as fast as you can toward the championship title — because this AAU competition gives track and field teams a chance to win big. The AAU National Club Championship is also an opportunity for young athletes to qualify for the 2019 AAU Junior Olympic Games. Boys and girls, primary age to high school age, may participate in the championship events.
Race to the finish line for the AAU Track and Field Club Championships from July 12 to July 18, 2020.
Disney Cup International
Teams from over 20 countries compete in the Disney Cup International for international acclaim. This weeklong event features a variety of sports and a variety of ways for boys and girls from age groups U9 to U19 to win.
This massive Walt Disney World Resort® event runs from July 13 to July 19, 2020.
AAU World Futsal Championships
Teams of five compete in fast-paced games against hundreds of other futsal players at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. This international event is open to both boys and girls ages six to 14.
Compete in this six-day tournament from July 26 to July 31, 2020.
Challenge Sports 3v3 National Championships
The Challenge Sports 3v3 National Championship brings together all of the qualifying teams from the 2019/2020 season to declare a champion. Train with your soccer team to take home the glory because this event is open to boys and girls of all ages.
Cross, kick, and juggle your way to the top from July 30 to August 2, 2020.
