While each of the major theme parks in Orlando hosts a blockbuster Halloween event, these events are often crowded and pricey, especially if you want to bring the entire family out with you. Thankfully, there are plenty of Halloween events in Orlando that are free to attend, while still providing a night full of spooky fun. Here are some of our favorite events from last year:
Mall-O-Ween at the Florida Mall
Florida Mall’s free Halloween event, Mall-O-Ween, offers a pumpkin patch, candy, games, and giveaways in a fun and festive environment for all ages. Though separate from the event at the Crayola Experience, it is entirely possible to attend both in the same night.
Trick or Treat Safe Zone & Block Party
The Orlando Public Library and the History Center in downtown Orlando are putting on a kid-friendly block party that includes trick-or-treating and other fun activities. The event is free for families with children who are 12 or younger.
Lake Nona brings its community together for a night of Halloween fun at this free event featuring music, games, and all kinds of treats—no promises on the tricks, though. All attendees are encouraged to show up in full costume.
