For an exciting and inviting way to celebrate the planet we’re lucky enough to call home, the Central Florida Earth Day celebration at Lake Eola is the perfect place. Located on the east side of Lake Eola park on Washington Street in the heart of downtown, Central Florida Earth Day brings educational exhibits and fun activities to all – completely free of charge!
This event is totally family-friendly, dog-friendly, alcohol-free, and smoke-free, making this the ideal event for families with children and individuals alike. Additionally, Central Florida Earth Day is a vegan event. This is because animal agriculture is not an environmentally sustainable practice, and Earth Day is all about celebrating the preservation of our planet.
Celebrating its 15th year, Central Florida Earth Day will take place at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando on April 25, 2020, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The free event welcomes all ages to enjoy an exciting day of natural, educational exhibits and activities that celebrate Mother Earth. A family- and dog-friendly as well as a smoke- and alcohol-free event, Central Florida Earth Day is known as the biggest and best Earth Day festival in Central Florida.
Activities include guest speakers, demonstrations of vegan food preparation techniques, education on the impacts of non-vegan practices, areas for artistic expression, and plenty of Earth-friendly products and vendors – there truly is something for everybody here.
Vegan Vendors and Food Prep Demonstrations
Throughout the event, appetizing vendors will be set up at the event’s food court selling delicious vegan dishes, pastries, smoothies, bowls, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and more.
Sponsored by Orlando Vegans, chefs will be on hand at Central Florida Earth Day showcasing live food demonstrations on how to prepare healthy, nutritious, and sustainable vegan dishes, snacks, and desserts.
